UTORDA: Aizawl FC blanked Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools 5-0 in their Nike Premier Cup match played on Saturday.
In the second minute, Aizawl FC through their striker Lal Famkina should have netted but his power drive hit the rival post and went out of play.
In the second half, Aizawl FC went on all guns blazing at Bhaichung Bhutia with Lal Ruatpuia netting the first goal of the match in the 58th minute before Lal Famkima netted a brace scoring a goal each in the 72nd and 74th minutes respectively.
Later, substitute Malsawmitualanga Pautu made it 4-0 for Aizwal FC in the 86th minute before Lal Famkima netted his hat-trick and 5-0 for Aizwal in the 90+3 minute.
In another match, Raman Vijayan Soccer School defeated SAG FA 7-3.
While, Reliance Foundation Young Champs had an impressive 5-1 win over Real Kashmir. DSK Shivajians earned a hard fought victory over East Bengal with a 2-1 win.
