PANJIM: Aldona Red, Soccoro C and Hatwada won their respective matches in the third edition of Vodafone G FDC Rising Stars Football festival in the U-13 category, on Saturday.
In the U-10 category for boy’s, Soccoro A, Hatwada and JJ Boys emerged victorious.
Aldona Red beat Aldona Green 3-0 at Aldona centre with man-of-the-match Aryan Pawar scoring twice in the sixth and 36th minutes while Narendra Naik scored in the 37th minute to score the third goal for the winners.
At Soccoro ground, Soccoro C defeated Soccoro D 2-0 with Shashwat Kamat and Leston Rodrigues scoring for the winners. Luis Fernandes was named the player of the match.
The match between Hatwada and Valpoi Municipal played at Valpoi ended in a draw.
At Savoi Verem, Satyahari beat Sharpshooters 1-0 with the winning goal being scored by Sanish Naik. Shantanu.
In the U-10 category, Soccoro A defeated Soccoro B 1-0 with Kaushik Kishor Sakhalkar scoring the winning goal.
Hatwada beat Valpoin Municipal 3-0. Nakul Gaus scored twice for the winners and Pratik Gaus was the other scorer. Nakul was adjudged player of the match. At Savoi Verem, JJ Boys defeated Rock Pack 3-0 with Shreyas Plakar, Niraj Naik and Pranay Velsalkar scoring a goal each.
Pushparaj Kamat was named player of the match.
