NAGOA-VERNA: Ambelim SC blanked Parish Youth Nuvem 2-0 to move into the semi- finals of the Nagoa Village Panchyat Cup, organised by Pax of Nagoa SC,
at Nagoa panchayat ground, on Friday.
The game started on a brisk note where Ambelim SC had an upper hand over the Parish Youth Nuvem as Samson Simoes netted the first goal of the match for Ambelim with a placement shot in 13th minute.
In the changeover of ends, Ambelim SC increased their tally through Samsung Fernandes off a curling corner-kick in the 30th minute.
Ambelim SC will now meet the winner of Don Bosco Oratory and Sao Jose Areal in the semi-final on April 25.
