PANJIM (HSD) — Amit Veluskar scored a breezy 79 to help Sarvodaya Sports Club reach a total of 286 against Dempo Sports Club on the first day of Goa Premier League cricket tournament at Panjim gymkhana, on Saturday.
Sarvodaya, winning the toss and batting first scored 286 for 8 in 90 overs. Amit Veluskar topscored with 79 (7×4, 2×6) while Rohit Naik 44, Rohit Rudra 30, Advait Katkar 23, Suraj Dhogre 21, Rohit D’Souza 30, Darshan Mishal 25 not out and Rakesh Badrapur 8 not out contributed for Sarvodaya. For Dempo, Amit Yadav scalped 5 for 78 while Harpit Wasawada claimed 3 for 89.
