MAPUSA: Anjuna Gymkhana scored a 4-0 win over Sodiem Siolim to move into the next round of the 7th Rusi Daver Cup, organized by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh, at Saligao grounds, on Tuesday. The winners fired twice in each session of play.
Warren Braganza opened the scoring for Anjuna in the 20th minute when he neatly headed home Vinayak’s cross.
Few minutes later, Rohan Kambli doubled the lead when his powerful shot from outside the box crashed into the far corner of the Sodiem nets.
Crossing over, Waren once again got into the scoring act, tapping home the ball from close range.
Myron Dias rounded off the score tally to 4-0 for Anjuna in the 55th minute through a powerful header off Vinayak cross.
