PANJIM: Goa’s Anura Prabhu Desai, who is brand ambassador of Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd and now, represents Airport Authority of India won Bronze in the Junior Girls U-19 doubles of OSHON All-India Junior Badminton Ranking Tournament held, at Hyderabad, Telangana.
Her doubles partner was Riya Mookerjee of West Bengal and were seeded third, they lost 21-14, 21-6 in the semis to second seeds Ashwini Bhat K. and Mithula UK
In the Junior girls singles U-19, Anura gave a tough fight to top seed Shikha Gautam before losing to her 21-15 , 19-21 , 21-13 in the quarter finals.
