PANJIM: Goa’s Anura Prabhu Desai has made it into the semi-finals of Senior Women’s doubles at the Radhey Shyam Gupta memorial All-India Senior Ranking Badminton tournament at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, recently.
She along with her partner Shruti Mundada beat the pair of Ningshi Block Hazarika and Riya Mookerjee (21-14, 17-21, 21-17) in the pre-quarters and Agna Anto and Sneha Santhilal (21-13, 16- 21, 21-17) in the quarters.
The duo had to settle for the bronze as they went down fighting to second seeds Sanyogita Ghorpade and Meghana J in a tight 21-11, 15-21, 21-15 three set match.
