Arjun claims third place

Arjun Vernekar of ITTC/KAC School, Goa claimed the third spot in the finals of the Amaron Karting Challenge 2008-2009 in Mumbai.
PD Nanjappa won the race and Abha Mankar, a 14-year-old from Pune was second.
The first placed winner earns the full scholarship to represent Team Amaron Pro Racing in the JK Tyre Rotax Max Challenge. The second and third spot winners have won the Amaron scholarship worth Rs 10 lakh each.
MacKinlay Barreto, head – Motorsport, Amaron Pro Racing said that he was thrilled to experience the success of their initiative which has reached out to many students.
