PANJIM: Asif Khan of Panjim overcame Mack D’Costa to emerge champion of all-Goa 8-ball pool tournament organized by Gurudutt Raikar and James Pereira at Pool Planet, in Margao.
Asif Khan received Rs 8,000 and a trophy besides the player-of-the-tournament award. Mack had to be content with a purse of Rs 5,000 and a trophy.
Earlier in the semi-finals, Asif defeated Devinder while Mack beat Diogo Rodrigues.
In all, 81 players participated in the two-day event.
