FATORDA: Auxilium High School, Benaulim defeated Rosary High School, Navelim 5-4 via the tiebreaker to move into the next round of the Suborto Mukerjee Salcete Taluka U-17 boys football tournament organised by DSYA, at Astroturf, Fatorda, on Saturday.
Selwyn Da Silva netted for Auxilium HS while Princely D’Costa’s equalise for Rosary HS.
In the resultant tie-breaker, Auxilium HS proved to be better shooters.
In another match, Regina Martyrum HS, Assolna outplayed St Xaviers High School, Velim 3-0.
Government Multipurpose HSS, Borda defeated Cresent High School, Fatorda 2-0.
