FATORDA: Ave Maria Athletic and Welfare Club defeated United Club of Telaulim 3-1 in the GFA U-16 league, at Artificial Turf ground, Fatorda.
Ave Maria led 1-0 at the break with Jesusly Rodrigues scoring the goal in the first half for the winning side.
Crossing over, Aman Shani made it 2-0 for Ave Maria who were clearly the better side among the two.
However within two minutes, United Club of Telaulim pulled a goal back through Faisal Shaikh.
United Club of Telaulim had their chances but they failed to convert them.
At the other end, Aman netted his brace to take the final tally to 3-1.
