DABOLIM: Baina YRC humbled Young Humorist 5-2 in GFA Second Division Mormugao Zone match at TB Cunha Sports complex, Cansaulim, on Wednesday.
With a win must for Young humorist to survive relegation they showed no vigour and were on the back foot when Pensar netted the first for Baina YRC early in the first minute.
Young Humorist suffered another blow when they had only two players on the bench as substitutes with most of them missing due to their busy schedule.
Baina YRC taking the full control of the match soon inflated the lead through Cleny Dias in the 25th minute. Cleny went to score his second in the 44th minute sending his team into the breather with a three-goal cushion.
Crossing over, Baina YRC showed no sign of satisfaction and Cleny went on to score his hat-trick in the 78th minute when he coolly side footed the shot past the rival keeper and moments later Cleny headed home his fourth. Jonathan Fonseca reduced the margin for the Young Humorist with goals coming in the 87th and 92nd minutes.
With this win, Baina YRC have qualified for the play-offs and the loss have sent Young Humorist back to Third Division along with Benfica.
