Betalbatim down St Rock

Betalbatim Sporting Club registered a hard fought 1-0 win over St Rock’s Youth Club, Calata, Majorda  and sailed in the semi-final of Joao Francisco Pacheco memorial inter- village football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club  at Betalbatim Sports Complex, on Sunday.
The lone goal came in the first half when Hayston D’Costa  slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snap shot after he picked up a through pass from Denzil Rogtao.
Betalbatim dominated the proceedings with their midfielders and forwards working in tandem.
Betalbatim could have won by a handsome margin had notAlllwick Fernandes and  Denzil Rogtao muffed sitters.
Crossing over, Betalbatim dominated and came across umpteen times to inflate their tally but it was poor finishing by Denzil Rogtao and Allwick Fernandes.
