Sangolda Lighting took the lead in the 10th minute when Shafdev Shaikh headed home off an Alex Alvares flag kick.
Stung by that setback, Betalbatim SC regrouped quickly and instantly took the fight to the rival camp and cancelled the lead in the 20th minute through striker Klinsman Pereira with a neat side foot finish past the keeper.
Crossing over, Betalbatim SC showed better application and urgency and put their opponents on the back foot.
Jeston Fernandes made it 2-1 when he received the pass from Austin Fernandes to curl one into the far corner of the net.
Spurred by the lead, Betalbatim Sporting Club intensified their attacks and swarmed all over the rival territory. Austin Fernandes fired in the 3rd goal to give Betalbatim SC a comfortable two goal cushion.
Sangolda Lighting Club tried their best to come back into the game but there was no way past the rock solid Betalbatim SC defence.
