Heavy Rains Cause Shigao River to Overflow, Flood Roads and Submerge Ganapati Visarjan Site in Sanvordem

Continuous heavy rainfall over the past two to three days has caused the Shigao River to overflow, leading to flooding in low-lying areas and raising concerns among local residents.

The overflowing river has inundated nearby roads, disrupting movement, while floodwaters have reached close to several houses in the area. The rising water level has also submerged the Ganapati Visarjan site, adding to the concerns ahead of the festive season.
