Betalbatim Sporting Club played their hearts out to defeat Curtorim Gymkhana 5-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the finals of All-Goa Joao Francisco Pacheco inter-village football tournament organised by Betalbatim Sporting Club at Betalbatim Sports Complex on Friday. At full time, the teams were locked in a goalless draw.
In the penalty shoot-out, Desmond Fernandes, Cajie D’Souza, Dickson Rogtao, Allwick Fernandes and Hayston D’Costa converted for Betalbatim Sporting.
Roy Colaco, Diego Dias, Luis Cardozo and Leslie Fernandes scored for Curtorim Gymkhana.
Betalbatim will meet Parish Youth, Nuvem in the final on August 29.
