Melissio increased the tally in the 49th minute when he intelligently beat both, the goalkeeper and defender and placed the ball to the far corner of the net. Bethany Convent were unlucky when Mark Carvalho’s snap shot hit the cross bar.
In the 56th minute, Melissio beat the rival goalkeeper with brilliant header off a well-executed floater from Flantan Dias to complete his hat-trick.
They will now meet Don Bosco High School, Panjim in the State final on August 19, at Cuncolim ground.
