SANGUEM: Bhatikar Model High School defeated Anjuman High School by 135 runs in final of the GCA U-14 President Cup, South Goa, at GCA ground Sanguem, on Thursday.
Electing to bat first, Bhatikar Model HS scored 208 runs for a loss of 6 wickets.
Devan Chitam (80), Deep Kasvankar (40), Shubham Prabhu (21) and Raunak Singh (21) were the top scorers for Bhatikar Model HS.
At the other end, Bhatikar Model HS bundled out Anjuman HS as they barely scored 73 runs in 22 overs.
Deep Kasvankar picked 4 wickets while Sanat Neugi picked 3 wickets to hold off the rivals.
The State final will be played between Mushtifund HS and Bhatikar Model HS, at GCA ground Sanguem, on April 19.
