VIRABHAT-CURTORIM: Bhatti blanked Damdolem 4-0 to move into final of the 5th Jose and Franky Memorial inter-ward football tournament organised by Sporting Club of Virabhat (Curtorim), at St Alex church ground, on Tuesday.
Bhatti dominated the match from the first whistle and scored the first goal of the match in 10th minute through Jovi Dias with a cracking shot to take the lead. Bhatti doubled the lead through a glancing header by Tony Dias of a corner taken by James Fernandes to make it 2-0 in the 25th minute.
In second half, Bhatti took full control of the match, and scored the third through Mavon Dias in the 47th minute and soon after that Macklon Dias made it 4-0.
In the dying minutes, Damdolem’s Jackson Fernandes pull a goal back 1-4.
