PANJIM: Saligao United Sports Club had an easy outing as they trounced host Youth Sports Club Colvale 3 -0 in the late Pio Jose Gouveia Memorial Inter-Village football tournament, played at Colvale church ground, on Tuesday.
Saligao United took an early lead in the 5th minute through Nestor Dias freekick from 25 yards giving no chance to Colvale keeper Manuel Viegas.
On crossing end, Saligao United further consolidated their lead with Paulo Jose scoring with a perfect header off a cross by Jaivan Travasso, 2-0.
At the strike of an hour Jaivan Travasso made it 3-0 with a rasping strike.
Man of the match was awarded to Nehal Parsekar of YSC Colvale.
