PANJIM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) will lock horns with BSNL in the final of ONGC AIPSSPB T-20 cricket tournament, played at Goa Cricket Association ground, on Thursday.
In the first semi-final, SBT beat FCI by 57 runs.
SBT, who were put to bat first, put up a massive score of 217/4 in the allotted 20 overs. Vinoop Manoharan was the highest scorer for SBT scoring 90 n.o. off 58 balls
Akash Tomar, Shiva Singh, Pulkit Narang and Vibhu Tyagi took a wicket each for FCI.
In reply FCI were bundled out for 160 in 19 overs.
Ragender Bisht was the highest scorer for FCI with 65 runs in 45 balls
Shahid C Payyarambalhir was the pick of the SBT bowlers as the lad took five wickets.
In the second semi-final, BSNL beat ONGC by 6 wickets. Electing to bat first, ONGC scored 156 for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs with Prashant Bhandari scoring 77 n.o. in 56 balls.
Salil Yadav was the highest wicket taker for BSNL taking 3 wickets.
BSNL scored a total of 157 for the loss of 4 wickets in 18.5 overs with Anshul Kapoor scoring 91* runs in 54 balls for BSNL.
Pankaj Jaiswal was the highest wicket taker for ONGC taking 2 wickets.
