CALANGUTE: Calangute Association beat Candolim Sports Club 6-2 in the finals of Kingfisher Beach Football Challenge at Calangute, Friday.
Gaurish 3, Domnic, Ashley 2 scored for Calangute. Harish and Kibber netted for Candolim.
Earlier, in the semis, Candolim Sports Club defeated Sporting Club de Goa 3-2 and Calangute Association prevailed over Panjim Footballers 4-3 via the tie-breaker.
Joelif scored for Candolim. Pedro and Avelino found the net for Sporting.

Blake Haldankar’s hat-trick helped Candolim Sports Club defeat Odxel Sports Club 5-1; Sporting Club de Goa, defeated Club Sao Miguel de Taleigao 5-1; Panjim Footballers thrashed Goa Velha Sports Club 7-2 to reach the semi-finals.
Blake got good support from Harish Divkar and Cleber D’souza, who scored one goal each for Candolim.
Pedro Gonsalves and Gabriel Fernandes scored two goals each, while Jerade D’Mello scored one goal for Sporting
Francis Coutinho and Lawrence Rodriques scored two goals each, while Mohammad Ali, Rinson Pereira and Kevin Cartoz scored one goal each for Panjim. For Goa Velha, Alber Gonsalves scored two goals.
