RAIA: Canacona Sports Cultural Club defeated Rossseman Cruz Nagao Verna Sports Club, 4-0, and moved into final of Navelim Villagers Union Trophy organised by Navelim Villagers Union, played at Rosary grounds, Navelim, on Saturday.
Canacona went all guns blazing at Rossman and netted four goals through Pralhad Felipe, Melvin Fernandes, Vishal Velip and Rancher Fernandes in the 6th, 44th, 36th and 53rd minutes, respectively.
Canacona Sports and Cultural Club will meet the winners of Guirdolim Club and Navelim Villagers Union in the final on November 15.
George Barretto, social worker of Navelim, presented the man-of-the-match award to Vishal Velip of Canacona Sports and Cultural Club.
