Candolim Sports Club beat Verna Sports Club 1-0 in 15th late Muriel Faleiro football tournament organised by Parish Youth of Nuvem at Nuvem church ground on Tuesday. There was no score at half time.
Verna tried their level best to break the deadlock, but failed.
Candolim scored the match-winner in the dying minutes through Manuel Crasto. Marcus Carvalho was the chief guest. Cyril Andrade, president, proposed the vote of thanks.
