MAPUSA: CDJ Ribandar registered a fluent 3-1 win over Sinquerim SC to book their place into the finals of the Goveia Cup organised by YSC Colvale held at Colvale church ground, here, on Thursday.
Play was basically restricted to the mid field with no worthwhile attempts at the respective goals.

In the 37th minute Shaheem Sheikh was the savior for Sinquerim effecting a goaline save off a Krishna Gawas attempt.
In the 40th minute Sahil Parwar scored with a scorching right footer from 25 yards leaving Ribandar custodian Elesh Shirvoikar dazed, 1-0.
In the 60th minute Sandesh Kavlekar equalised for Ribandar and soon thereafter Ribandar took the lead through a fierce strike by Octavio Miranda which the Siquerim goalkeeper Surat Harijan found too hot to handle.
In the 68th minute Vishal Adkonkar rounded off the tally for Ribandar with a smart finish, 3-1.
Man-of-the-match was awarded to Octavio Miranda of CDJ Ribandar presented by Augustine D’Souza, member YSC Colvale.
