CUNCOLIM: Chandor Sports Club hammered Parish Youth Nuvem 5-0 to book their place in the final of the Yaari Cup (South Goa) inter-village football tournament organised by Cuncolim Union, at Cuncolim School ground, Cuncolim on Sunday.
Chandor SC led 2-0 at the breather. Moses D’sa opened the flood-gates for Chandor SC in the 4th minute with a free-kick.
Sunny Fernandes doubled the lead in the 34th minute off Succoro Fernandes’ pass.
In the second session, Chandor SC scored more three goals. Moses D’sa and Frazer Gomes scored two quick goals to make it 4-0 for Chandor.
Sunny Fernandes completed his brace scoring the fifth goal in the 65th minute.
Chandor SC will now meet Snow’s FA in the final which is slated for September 2.
