PANJIM: Chandor Sports Club edged past Sporting Club of Davorlim 6-5 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-final of 2nd all-Goa Jose Bento Furtado memorial inter-village football tournament, organized by Goa Football Referees Association and United Club of Telaulim, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Tuesday.
In the 32nd minute, Chandor broke the deadlock through Jeston Martins while Davorlim equalized in the 49th minute through Erison Rebello.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Moses D’sa, Suraj Zambaulikar, Ivan Pinto and Sunny Fernandes scored for Chandor while Macklon Colaco, Peston Colaco and Welson converted for Davorlim.
