MAPUSA: Chapora Yuvak Sangh maintained their unbeaten run as they drubbed Bidesh XI 6-0 in a GFA’s Second Division League match at Duler stadium, here on Sunday.
Chapora’s Sachidanand Satelkar stole the limelight as he scored a hat-trick. Pratik Dhargalkar, Aniket Naik and Chandan Govekar accounted for the other goals.

After much probing, Chapora finally opened their floodgates in the 16th minute as a rasping drive by Arjun was punched by the Bidesh custodian. It hit the crossbar and rebounded into the pathway of Sachidanand, who drove the ball into the goal.
Chapora doubled the lead in the 36th minute as Sachidanand intercepted the ball off a Bidesh defender and scored.
Chapora struck two quick goals in the last five minutes before the breather. Pratik Dhargalkar collected a pass from Aniket Naik and scored following a brilliant solo effort.
In the added time, Aniket Naik dribbled past a host of rival defenders after carrying the ball from his own half and scored beating the onrushing rival goalkeeper.
After the break, Sachidanand completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute. Chandan Govekar completed the rout.
At Guirim ground, Vagator PYSC trounced YSC Colvale 7-0. Saif Khan, Godwin Fernandes, Dawson Costa, Kunal Virnodkar, Vihar Kholkar, Regan Costa and Prem Patel scored.
At Salvador do Mundo ground, Pilerne SC defeated Goan Warriors FC 3-1.
