CARMONA: Chinchinim Veterans shoot-out Janot Boys Veterans, Carmona 7-6 via the tie-breaker to lift the 29th Janot Boys trophy, at Carmona Church ground, recently.
The opening goal was scored by Mario Soares in the third minute but the joy was short-lived as Yuri Ferrao equalised for Carmona Veterans in the sixth minute.
In the penalty shoot-out Chinchinim Veterans proved to be better shooters.
Janot Boys goalkeeper Tony Gonsalves was adjudged man-of-the-match.
Janot Boys felicitated Edwin Mascarenhas (founding member) along with Raynell Dias for her outstanding performance in football U-17 girls National team.
