Chinchinim opened the scoring in the very 5th minute through Ivon Fernandes off a pass by Jerry Fernandes.
Changing ends, Navelim started playing an attacking game in search of equaliser. In the bargain, Chinchinim got a corner kick which was well taken by Mahesh Lotlikar and Mario Soares made no mistake to head giving no chance to Navelim goalkeeper Anand Adkonkar.
Navelim changed the rhythm of game after scoring the first goal through Alfred Fernandes off a pass by Remy Colaco and went all out in search of an equaliser but Chinchinim defence stood like a rock marshalled by Santan Rebello.
Chinchinim took advantage of the situation and Mario gave intelligent pass to Inacio Cardozo, who scored in style to make it 3-1.
Then again, Inacio scored his second goal off a long ball by John Leitao.
