Churchill Bros fate today

PANJIM: Churchill Brothers FC fate will be decided on Tuesday whether they will continue in the I-League or not as its appeal petition will be assessed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Club Licensing Appeals Committee at Football House in Delhi.

PANJIM: Churchill Brothers FC fate will be decided on Tuesday whether they will continue in the I-League or not as its appeal petition will be assessed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Club Licensing Appeals Committee at Football House in Delhi. 
The meeting is scheduled to start at 2 p.m in the afternoon and a decision will be taken on the same day.
The appeal petitions of all the four axed clubs that include Mohammedan Sporting, United SC and Rangdajied United will be also be heard.
The Club Licensing Committee, the First Instance Body – which met at the Governing Body’s Headquarters on May 21, decided to disband the four clubs based on the documents provided by all the 14 clubs.
N.K. Sud, Retired Justice Punjab and Haryana High Court will chair the meeting, which will also have Sanjeev Paul, managing director, TATA Metalicks, and Neel Ratan, executive director, PricewaterhouseCoopers Private Limited as the committee members.
The requirements include legal, administration, sporting, infrastructure and financial criteria which all clubs are required to meet. 
The license is required to compete under the AIFF’s Indian Club Licensing System, and is reviewed annually based on a team’s overall performance.
