PANJIM: Clube Sao Minguel De Taleigao stormed into the semi-finals scoring a fluent 4-1 win over Nerul Sports Club in the Dr Maximo Menezes Memorial Soccer 2015 inter-village tournament organized by Goa Velha Sports Club, at Goa Velha ground, on Monday.
Gautam Kankonkar had the first chance to score after being set up by Anthony Pereira but he shot over the Nerul SC goal.
Jayendra Kunkolienkar put Clube Sao Minguel De Taleigao ahead as he received a through ball from Anthony Pereira and shot passed Xavier Estrocio.
Jayendra Kunkolienkar inflated the scoreline for Taleigao to make it 2-0 scoring past Xavier Estrocio in the Nerul SC goal.
At half time, Clube Sao Minguel De Taleigao led by two goals.
After resumption, Jayesh Kunkolienkar missed a chance to score his hat-trick when he shot over the horizontal off a pass from Ferran Fernandes.

Daphen Rodrigues reduced the margin for Nerul SC as he converted a penalty which was awarded after a Clube Sao Minguel defender handled the ball in the area.
Edwin Rodrigues completed the scoring for Clube Sao Minguel as he rounded up the keeper and shot home to make it 4-1 in favour of Clube Sao Minguel.
