NAVELIM: Compassion FC thrashed Clube Sao Miguel de Taleigao 4-0 to register fluent win in the Vedanta women’s league football match played at Rosary church ground, Navelim, on Tuesday.
Clube Dao Minguel de Taleigao’s Jaya Kankonkar goalkeeper gave her best to his team and for Compassion FC Alicia Suzy Fernandes was at her best.
Compassion FC dominated the entire match and led by a goal scored by Nusrat Kottiwale. Compassion FC scored three more goals in the second session.
First Alicia Fernandes made it 2-0 whose power packed shot beat Jaya Kankonkar under CSMT bar. Melisha made it 3-0 in the 75th minute while Joyvi Fernandes made the issue safe for Compassion FC scoring the fourth goal. Joyvi was later adjudged as woman-of-the-match.
