MAPUSA: Corps of Signals scored two goals in each session to ground relegation battling Nagoa Sporting Club 4-0 in a round 14 match of GFA’s First Division League match at Duler Stadium, here, Monday.
After starting off on an attacking note, it took them four minutes to open the floodgates as Under-20 Nim Tshering powerfully headed in off a well-measured cross from Lalruatfela.
Signals doubled their lead in the 40th minute as the duo showed good understanding between them this time, Tshering set up Lalruatfela, who finished neatly.
Crossing over, Nagoa tried hard to get back into the match and salvage some pride but their midfield and strikers lacked creativity. Nagoa goalkeeper Rohit Maulingkar saved his side from an embarrassing score line with an exceptional performance under the crossbar but couldn’t stop Tshering for getting his brace.
Bablu Soran made it 4-0 for Signals in the final quarter.
