CHICALIM: Cortalim Villagers defeated Parish Youth Consua 3-0 in the Goa Football Association (GFA) Second Division League played at Chicalim ground, on Saturday.
The first half ended in a goalless draw.
Crossing over, Cortalim Villagers opened the scoring through Samuel D’Silva in the 52nd minute as Canel D’Silva went on to add the second for his team in the 76th minute before Rayen Azaredo netted in the third goal.
In a game held at Velsao ground, Mormugao United UCSC thrashed Rising Star SC 5-1.
Sachin Borkar opened the scoring for the winners in the 4th minute before Rising Stars Loyed Rebello equalised it in the 7th minute. But Sachin Borkar regained his teams lead in the next minute as he completed his brace early on.
Samer Borkar (10), Rajkamal Bind (25) and Dishu Singh (67) were the other scorers for the winners.
Elsewhere at Agaissaim ground, CDJ Ribandar eased pass Merces Club 1-0. Mateus Dias scored the lone goal for the Ribandar side in the 48th minute.
