CURTORIM: Cumborda blanked Agxem 3-0 and moved into the semi-finals of the 2nd Curtorim inter-ward 9-a-side football tournament organized by Cumborda Sports Club of Curtorim, at Curtorim ground, on Tuesday.
In the 15th minute, Mackvil scored for Cumborda with a clinical finish. Agxem created a chance in the 25th minute through Lenoy’s powerful shot but the ball hit the crossbar.
In the second half both teams showed more aggression and in the 30th minute Marcus’ brilliant finish from the flanks gave Cumborda a 2-0 lead.
Later, in the 45th minute, Mackvil scored his brace with a long range pass from defender Amistron making it 3-0 for Cumborda.
Cumborda will now meet Fondegal in the semi-finals on Thursday.
