NAVELIM: Cuncolim Union got the better of Betalbatim SC 2-1 to enter the quarter-final of the late Jose Bento Furtado Memorial football tournament, at Rosary ground, Navelim on Wednesday. Cuncolim took the lead in the 22 nd minute through Rosario Carvalho.
Nilesh Velip doubled the lead for Cuncolim in the 54th minute, while Bernard Rodrigues pulled a goal back for Betalbatim in the 58th minute.
