PARODA: Curtorim defeated Binday Boys by a solitary goal to lift the 3rd All Goa Miracles SC Coprimoddi Trophy organised by Miracles SC Coprimoddi, Assolda-Chandor, at Assolda panchayat ground, recently.
Curtorim’s Joyston Barbosa missed the chance to give his side the lead in the eighth minute. Two minutes later, Binday Boys through Vishal Fernandes shot wide. It was Veron who scored the match-winner for Curtorim in the 54th minute off a penalty kick.
The following prizes were awarded: Best discipline team: Miracles SC; Best forward: Joyston Barbosa (Curtorim); Best goalkeeper of the tournament: Falito Fernandes (Curtorim); Player-of-the-final: Veron Fernandes (Curtorim); Best defender-of-the-tournament: Prenoy Mascarenhas (Binday Boys); Best midfielder-of-the-tournament: Vishal Fernandes (Binday Boys).
Minister for Power Nilesh Cabral was the chief guest, MLA of Cuncolim Constituency Clafasio Dias along other dignitaries were present for the prize distribution.
