RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Betalbatim Sporting Club 5-4 via the tie-breaker and sailed into the quarter-finals of Cana Benaulim Village Panchayat Cup football tournament at St. John de Baptista ground, Dando- Benaulim on Monday.
Betalbatim took the lead through Klusner Pereira but it was later cancelled by Neliston Silveira for Curtorim Gymkhana. In the ensuing tie-breaker, Jovel Martins, Amar Estibeiro, Rhay Dias and Nickson Castanha netted for Curtorim Gymkhana. Ashley Fernandes, Klusner Pereira and Jesus Fernandes were on target for Betalbatim SC.
