RAIA: Curtorim Gymkhana defeated Sporting Club Davorlim, 9-8, via the tie-breaker to enter the finals of the Chandor Seamen inter-village football tournament, played at Chandor Football ground. Both the teams were tied at 2-2 in the normal time.
Mackson Fernandes and Nalister Silveira netted a goal each for Curtorim Gymkhana while Reeve D’Costa scored a brace. In the ensuing tie-breaker – Piedade Colaco, Adarsh Raj, Aaren Figuiredo, Prince Figuiredo, Sanju Trikonni, Joy Paxton Gomes and Milton Colaco netted for Curtorim Gymkhana while Aaron Dias, Savio Peixoto, Marcus Fernandes, Rhay Dias, Milagres Fernandes and Myson Fernandes were the scorers for SC Davorlim.
