PANJIM: Damodar High School, Loliem entered the finals of VII Shubham Naik memorial inter-school cricket tournament, defeating Katyayani Baneshwar High School, Pansulem by 54 runs.
The tournament is organised by Canacona Sports Academy and Mandovi Parivar and the matches are played at Nirakar Sports Complex, Mashem.
In the first semi-final, electing to bat first Damodar HS were all-out for 131 in 17.5 overs
Sneharsh Pagi (31) was the main run getter. Dattesh Pagi of KB HS took three wickets in 4 overs.
Divyansh Pagi also took three wickets while Sairaj Dhri took two.
Damodar HS’s Sneharsh Pagi’s superb haul of five wickets including a hat-trick damaged KB batting line-up and bundled them out for just 77 runs.
Saieel Satarkar took three wickets.
For KB High School, Darpan Pagi scored 29 runs.
