MARGAO:Damodar Higher Secondary School Gudi – Paroda emerged as champs in the Quepem Taluka inter higher secondary U-19 chess tournament, at Borimol Sports Complex indoor stadium, Paroda.
Damodar HSS team led by Ritviz Parab, Vishwas Velip and Chand Khan won three matches and drew one and bagged the championship by 7 points.
Damodar HSS bt Government HSS, Sanguem in the first match 3-1,
They further defeated Government HSS Canacona and Shiroda HSS. In the last match Damodar HSS were held 2-2 by Satyawati S. Angle HSS of Mashem Canacona.
