MARGAO: Youth of Davorlim defeated Mount Mary Boys Nagoa,2-1 to sail into the quarterfinal of All-Goa Sucaldem Cup football tournament organized by Sucaldem Youth Club at Sucaldem ground, Chinchinim, on Friday.
Youth of Davorlim dominated and pushed their opponents onto the back foot.
Agnelo Colaco broke the deadlock in the 15th minute and five minutes later Paxton Gomes increase the tally late in the first half.
Crossing over, Youth of Davorlim continued to dictate terms but were unlucky as the rival attacker’s shot deflected off a Davorlim defender and flew into the goal.
