PANJIM: Davorlim Sports Club knocked out Wilred Leisure Sports Club, Curtorim via the tie-breaker 5-4 to storm into the finals of Fr. Agnelo Youth inter-village football tournament organized by Fr. Agnelo Youth Sports Club, Paroda at panchayat ground, Avedem, Paroda.
There was no score at regulation time.
In the ensuing tie-breaker, Melvin Figueiredo, Penyson Rebello, Jose Colaco, Paxton Gomes and Venson Figueiredo scored for Davorlim, while Vicky Cardoso, Nickson Castanha, Peter Pereira and Joaquim Carvalho succeded for Wilred. Melvin Fernandes shot wide. Davorlim will now meet Curtorim Gymkhana in the finals on January 22.
