PANJIM: Dayanand Bandodkar High School, Verem defeated Janata High School Mapusa by an inning and 7 points as they emerged champions at the Bardez Taluka U-14 girls Kho Kho tournament which was organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa.
The 3rd place was bagged by Sacred Heart High School, Parra by defeating Dnyanprassak Vidyalay, Mapusa by an inning and 4 points. The U-17 Boys tournament will be held on Wednesday, at the same venue.
