LOUTOLIM: Don Bosco Oratory, Fatorda defeated Sao Jose de Areal 1-0 to clinch the Loutolim Panchyat Cup organised by SCC Loutolim, at Montir ground, Loutolim, on Sunday.
In a well contested final, both teams dished out an attacking brand of football.
In the first five minutes Areal dominated with front line moves from Raymond Fernandes wherein the 3rd and 5th minutes he tried to score the goal but Terence Barbosa, goalkeeper of Don Bosco saved his moves on both occasions.
The breakthrough came in tenth minute through Joel Camarawho scored for Don Bosco Oratory.
The winners were awarded Rs. 35,000 while the runners up bagged Rs. 25,000 plus trophy.
Albert Pinheiro, assistant commissioner of customs, was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of other dignitaries and club officials.
