AMBELIM: Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda scored a fluent 3-0 win over Betalbatim Sporting Club in the Lourdes Soccer Cup, organised by Ambelim Sports Club and played at Ambelim ground, on Monday.
Don Bosco started the match on an attacking note as they had the first shot at the rival goal in 15th minute but Necil Pinto’s shot was brilliantly saved by Betalbatim keeper Bosco Lopes.
Bosco came to his team’s rescue once again just before the break when he denied Francis Andrade from close to keep scores level at the break.
Crossing ends, Necil Pinto finally broke the deadlock when his well timed shot beat the rival keeper, 1-0.
Andrade doubled the lead in the 41st minute.
In the dying minutes of the game, Necil Pinto completed his brace and scored the team’s third.
