Facing relegation, Chirag United today snatched a valuable point from defending champion Dempo Sports Club as they drew goalless in the ONGC I-League at Vidyasagar Stadium in Barasat today.
The Goa outfit after 19 games, have gathered 27 points and Chirag were now on 22 from 20 matches.
Now Chirag, Mohammedan Sporting and JCT have 20 points each from as many games.
Chirag United had some good chances to score in first ten minutes but both Subair Muritala Ali and Shankar Oraon wasted the opportunities.
