VARCA: Dicarpale SC got the better of Verna SC 8-7 via the tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the late Roosevelt Alemao Memorial inter-village football tournament, organised by Churchill Brothers FC, played at Varca SC ground on Wednesday.
There was no score at the end of regulation time.
In the tie-breaker, Dicarpale SC proved to be better shooters scoring accurately through Ryan, Abhay, Avon, Donald, Leaser, Mable, Mark and Jomack while Manuel, Vijay Christo, Hilton, Eusebuo, Savio and Francis scored for Verna.
