CHINCHINIM: Dicarpale SC defeated Cuncolim Union 8-7 via tie-breaker to storm into the semi-finals of the Union of Chinchinim Villagers 8-a-side inter village football tournament, at Our Lady of Hope ground, Chinchinim, on Saturday.
Agnelo crossed the ball to Milton Rocha who headed to open the for Dicarpale SC in the 12th minute making it 1-0. While, Agnelo Colaco doubled the lead for Dicarpale in the 17th minute.Daulat Desai reduced the margin for Cuncolim Union making it 2-1.
Later, Daulat Dessai levelled 2-2 for Cuncolim Union in the 55th minute. In the ensuing tie-breaker Dicarpale SC proved to be better shooters.
